To install a double-ferrule compression fitting, slide the nut and ferrules onto the tubing, insert the tube fully into the fitting body, then tighten the nut by hand. Use a wrench to tighten an additional 1-1/4 turns for brass fittings. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for torque and re-tightening.
