1. Séparer les deux demi-sections en dévissant les vis extérieures à tête creuse (vis Allen) (se
   servir de la clef fournie). Ne pas tourner la vis perforatrice centrale. Celle-ci a été préajustée
   à l’usine et est déjà prête à l’installation. Remarque : Pour la valve BPV31, se servir du grand
   adaptateur pour le tube de ¼ (6.35mm) et du petit adaptateur pour le tube 5/16 (7.94mm).
   Aucun adaptateur n’est nécessaire pour le tube de 3/8 (9.5mm). Pour la valve BPV21, se
   servir de l’adaptateur pour le tube ½ (12.27mm).



2. Adapter les deux moitiés sur le tube, installer les vis Allen et serrer avec la clef jusqu’à ce que
   les deux moitiés se rencontrent.

3. Au moyen de la même clef, tourner la vis centrale de perçage, à fond, dans le sens des
   aiguilles d’une montre, jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit fermement fixée. Tourner maintenant l’aiguille
   en arrière d’un tour complet pour opérer la valve. Ne pas tourner l’aiguille de perçage de
   plus de 2 tours complets. (une fois la vis tournée de 2 tours complets, la valve se trouve en
   position « entièrement ouverte », et toute rotation additionnelle pourrait détacher l’aiguille
   de son siège).

4. Pour assurer la valve, tourner l’aiguille perforatrice centrale dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
   montre jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit fermement fixée.

How to install the Supco piercing valve outlet 1/2" and 5/8"?

To install, separate the two halves by removing the Allen screws (do not turn the central piercing screw). Place both halves around the copper tube, tighten the screws until the halves meet, then turn the central screw clockwise fully to pierce the tube. Back the screw one full turn to open the valve. Do not exceed two full turns.
