It features a 44° horizontal x 57° vertical thermal image field of view, adjustable emissivity from 0.1 to 0.99, USB interface, data logging, tripod mounting, and a bright LED flashlight. To use the FLIR TG298 for difference testing, point the device at the target and activate the difference function via the digital LCD touchscreen. The thermometer compares current readings against a reference, displaying the variance.
