About SIT

SIT S.p.A. (Italy; est. 1953) is a leading European manufacturer of gas control valves, thermostatic valves, electronic ignition modules, and mechanical timers for heating appliances, catering equipment, and industrial gas systems. The SIT catalog is available — the NOVA 820/822/824 multifunctional gas-control valves, the Sigma 840/845/848 series for commercial and industrial boilers, Eurosit 630 thermostatic gas valves, Minisit thermostatic controls, and the SIT Group electronic ignition and flame-detection modules.

The SIT NOVA series (820 NOVA, 822 NOVA, 824 NOVA) is the most widely fitted multifunctional gas-control valve on European residential and commercial heating appliances — combining gas shut-off, pressure regulation, ignition gas supply, and thermostat function in a single valve body. The Sigma series extends this into higher-capacity commercial and light-industrial applications — Sigma 845 is specified on commercial boilers up to 120 kW, and the Sigma 848 covers modulating-burner applications.

SIT gas valves and thermostat controls are original equipment on appliances from major European heating-equipment manufacturers, and the replacement-parts demand follows the installed base. The highest-turnover SIT SKUs are available — NOVA 820, Sigma 845, Eurosit 630 in the most-common pressure and capacity variants. The Eurosit 630 is particularly common as a direct replacement on older standing-pilot gas appliances (water heaters, fryers, commercial ovens) where the original thermostatic valve has reached end of service life.

Common Applications

  • Commercial boiler gas-control replacement — Sigma 845 / 848 on hot-water and steam boilers
  • Catering and commercial kitchen equipment — Eurosit 630 thermostatic valves on fryers, ovens, and steamers
  • Residential heating appliance service — NOVA 820 / 822 / 824 as OEM-replacement gas-control valves
  • Standing-pilot gas appliance refurbishment — Eurosit 630 and Minisit thermostatic controls
  • Industrial gas-fired process equipment — Sigma 848 modulating gas valves for burner integration

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about SIT from 3G Electric.

Are SIT products available?

Yes. We carry the SIT S.p.A. gas-controls portfolio — NOVA multifunctional gas valves, Sigma series commercial valves, Eurosit 630 thermostatic valves, Minisit controls, and electronic ignition modules.

What SIT gas-valve models are available?

NOVA 820, NOVA 822, NOVA 824, Sigma 845, Sigma 848, and Eurosit 630 in the most-common pressure and capacity variants are typically available on shorter lead times. Less-common configurations and the full Minisit range have a factory lead time on request.

Can a SIT Eurosit 630 replace the original thermostatic valve on my gas appliance?

The Eurosit 630 is the industry-standard thermostatic gas-control valve for standing-pilot gas appliances — fryers, water heaters, commercial ovens, and older boilers. It replaces most original-equipment thermostatic valves that share the standard Eurosit mounting pattern. Confirm the gas type (natural gas / LPG) and inlet pressure from the appliance nameplate before ordering.

What is the difference between SIT NOVA and SIT Sigma gas valves?

NOVA series (820/822/824) is designed for residential and light-commercial appliances — compact, lower capacity, integrated thermostat. Sigma series (840/845/848) is designed for larger commercial and light-industrial boilers with higher gas throughput, external control inputs, and modulating capability. We carry both ranges.

Do you supply SIT electronic ignition modules?

Yes. SIT produces electronic ignition and flame-supervision modules that pair with the NOVA and Sigma valve ranges. Specific module references depend on the appliance OEM configuration — share the appliance make and model for a matched replacement.

Does 3G Electric supply SIT products?

Yes — 3G Electric (S) Pte. Ltd. supplies SIT products. We stock the SIT catalog and supply genuine factory-original products with full manufacturer warranty and technical support.
