PUMP\n IDENTIFICATION\nThe SUNTEC TA oil pump is specially designed for industrial heating applications\nusing light or heavy oils. It is fitted with a preheater location to render cold starting (Not all model combinations are available\n Consult your Suntec representative)\neasier.\n\nCOMPATIBILITY\n- Heavy oil, light oil, B100. TA : Pressure regulation\n- One or two-pipe system.\n\nPUMP OPERATING PRINCIPLE\n Gear set capacity\nThe gear set draws oil from the tank and transfers it to the valve regulating the oil (see pump capacity curves)\npressure to the nozzle line. All oil which does not go through the nozzle line will be\ndumped through the valve back to the return line in two pipe installation or, if it is a\none-pipe installation, back to the gear-set. Shaft rotation\n (seen from shaft end)\nBleed A : clockwise rotation /\n right hand nozzle\nThe plug of the pressure gauge port must be loosened until the air is evacuated C : anti clockwise rotation /\nfrom the system. left hand nozzle\n\nNote\nAll TA models are delivered for two-pipe system (by-pass plug fitted in vacuum TA 2 A 40 10 7\ngauge port).\nFor one-pipe system, the by-pass plug must be removed and the return port sealed\nby steel plug and washer.\n\nPREHEATING FACILITY Pressure range :\n 30 : 7 - 30 bars\nCare should be taken to avoid starting pump with high viscosity cold oil leading to 40 : 7 - 40 bars\npump and coupling damage. For this reason, the TA pump body includes a cavity\nto accept an electric preheater. This cavity has been located to give maximum heat\ntransfer from the heater to the oil in the pump without direct contact between the\n Preheater facility\nheater cartridge and the oil.\nHeaters should be connected for a period of time prior to starting the pump. When\nthe right temperature is reached, they can be switched off or left permanently\n Revision number\nswitched on to maintain fluid oil in the pump during the periodic burner shut-downs.\nThe oil supply, pipes and filters must be separately heated.\n\n\n\n\n Oil under suction\n Vacuum or inlet Vacuum or\n Oil under pressure\n pressure gauge Pressure inlet pressure Pressure\n By-passed oil port gauge port gauge port gauge port\n returned to tank, or\n to suction\n\n\n\n Intake To\n Intake To\n from Tank nozzle\n from Tank nozzle\n By-pass\n By-pass\n plug\n plug\n inserted\n removed\n\n Pressure\n adjustment Pressure\n adjustment\n\n\n\n Return TWO PIPE ONE PIPE Return\n INSTALLATION INSTALLATION plugged\n\n\n\n SUNTEC INDUSTRIES FRANCE - 1, rue Lavoisier - CS 60 102 - F-21603 LONGVIC Cedex - www.suntec.fr\n\fTECHNICAL DATA Pump capacity\n Capacity (L/h)\nGeneral\n\nMounting Flange mounting\nConnection threads Cylindrical according to ISO 228/1\nInlet and return G 1/2\nNozzle outlet G 1/2\nPressure gauge port G 1/4\nVacuum gauge port G 1/4\nShaft Ø 12 mm\nBy-pass plug Inserted in vacuum gauge port\n for 2 pipe system;\n to be removed with a 3/16\" Allen key\n for 1 pipe system\nWeight 5,4 kg (TA2) - 5,7 kg (TA3)\n Pressure (bars)\n 6 kg (TA4) - 6,4 kg (TA5)\n Viscosity = 75 cSt\nHydraulic data 20 cSt\n 5 cSt - Rated speed = 2850 rpm\nNozzle pressure ranges 30 : 7 - 30 bars\n 40 : 7 - 40 bars Data shown are for new pumps, with no allowance for wear.\nDelivery pressure\nsetting 30 bars Power consumption\nOperating viscosity 2 - 75 mm²/s (cSt)\n Power (W)\n(Higher viscosity oil can be used by feeding the pump and by heating the oil to lower\nits viscosity under 75 cSt. For kerosene applications, contact SUNTEC).\nOil temperature 0 - 150°C in the pump\nInlet pressure light oil : 0,45 bars max. vacuum to prevent\n air separation from oil\n heavy oil : 5 bars max.\nReturn pressure light oil : 5 bars max.\n heavy oil : 5 bars max.\nRated speed 3600 rpm max.\nTorque (@ 40 rpm) 0,3 N.m\n\nChoice of heater\n Pressure (bars)\n\nCartridge Ø 12 mm Viscosity = 75 cSt\n 5 cSt - Rated speed = 2850 rpm\nFitting according to EN 50262\nRating 80-100 W Data shown are for new pumps, with no allowance for wear.\n\n\n\n\n PUMP DIMENSIONS (in mm) Example shows pump with “C” rotation and serial number ³ 500 000. - Reverse all pump connections\n for “A” rotation.\n\n\n TA2 TA3 TA4 TA5\n 125\n A 66 101 22,5\n 50 54 58 64 22,5\n (mm)\n 36 \n\n \n B\n Ø11 130\n Ø54 Ø19 min\n M16x1,5\n B\n 85\n \n 4\n \n Ø12…
