PUMP\n IDENTIFICATION\nThe SUNTEC AT3 oil pump offers 2 mode pressure operation, in-line cut-off (Not all model combinations are available.\nfunction, plus a special hydraulic outlet on the cover featuring nozzle pressure Consult your Suntec representative)\nduring high mode and dumping during low mode. AT : Pump for two stage operation\nCOMPATIBILITY (one nozzle line and two pressure modes)\n with integral in-line solenoid cut-off\n- Domestic oil, HVO, B100 (biofuel blend with the addition up to 100%\nFAME, as defined in DIN SPEC 51603-6 and EN 14214), kerosene. 3 : Special pressure outlet on cover\n- Hydraulic requirement in high mode only. V : B100 applications\n- One or two-pipe system. Gear set capacity\n (see pump capacity curves)\nPUMP OPERATING PRINCIPLE\n Shaft rotation\nThe gear set draws oil from the tank through the built-in filter and transfers it and nozzle location\nto the nozzle line via the cut-off solenoid valve. Pressure regulation is assured (seen from shaft end)\nby two spool valves, one for each pressure mode. A : clockwise rotation\nSwitching between low and high pressure is assured by a \"normally open\" by- \t\t right hand nozzle.\npass solenoid valve. When this solenoid is non-activated, a by-pass channel is B : clockwise rotation\nopen, allowing the normal functioning of the low pressure valve which sets the \t\t left hand nozzle.\n C : anti clockwise rotation\nnozzle pressure. When this solenoid is activated, the by-pass channel is closed, \t\t left hand nozzle.\nthus pressure will build up on both sides of the low pressure valve eliminating D : anti clockwise rotation\nits effect, and the high pressure valve now determines the nozzle pressure. \t\t right hand nozzle.\nThe blocking solenoid valve of the nozzle line is of the \"normally closed\" type. Pump series\nThis design ensures extremely fast response and the switching can be selected\naccording to the burner operating sequence and is independent of motor speed. 5 : hub Ø 32 mm\nWhen this solenoid is non-activated, the valve is closed and all oil pressurized Model number\nby the gear set passes through the regulators to suction or to the return line, AT 3 V 45 C 9 5 xx 4 P 07 00\ndepending upon pipe arrangement.\nAs soon as this solenoid is activated, oil passes to the nozzle line at the pressure Revision number\nset by the pressure regulating valves. Installation\nIn two pipe operation, the by-pass plug must be fitted in the return port, which P : by-pass plug installed\nensures that the oil dumped by the regulating valves is returned to the tank for two-pipe operation\n M : without by-pass plug,\nand the suction line flow is equal to the gear set capacity. Bleeding in two pipe return plugged\noperation is automatic (it is assured by a bleed flat on the pistons), but it may for one-pipe operation\nbe accelerated by opening a pressure port.\nIn one pipe operation, the by-pass plug must be removed, and the return Solenoid coil voltage\n 05/07 : 220-240 V AC ; 50/60 Hz\nplugged. Oil which is not required at the nozzle is returned directly to the gear 06 : 110-120 V AC ; 50/60 Hz\ninlet via the pressure regulating valves, and the suction line flow is equal to 02 : 24 V AC ; 50/60 Hz\nthe nozzle flow.\n Connector cable length\nA pressure port must be opened to bleed the system.\n 00 : no cable\nSPECIAL FEATURE 35 : 35 cm - 45 : 45 cm\n 60 : 60 cm - 10 : 1 m\nCover pressure port only gives pressure in high mode.\n\n\n By-pass By-pass Blocking Blocking\n solenoid valve (NO) solenoid valve (NO) solenoid valve solenoid valve\n closed open (NC) (NC)\n (High mode) (Low mode) open closed\n Nozzle Dumping\n pressure pressure\n outlet outlet\n Low pressure\n adjustment to nozzle\n\n Shaft seal\n\n\n High pressure Pressure\n outlet or Back\n adjustment to suction\n Gear set pressure\n gauge port\n\n Oil under suction\n\n Oil under pressure Vacuum\n gauge port By-pass By-pass\n By-passed oil plug plug\n returned to tank inserted removed\n or to suction TWO PIPE ONE PIPE Return\n Inlet Return INSTALLATION INSTALLATION plugged\n\n SUNTEC INDUSTRIES FRANCE - 1, rue Lavoisier - CS 60102 - F-21603 LONGVIC Cedex - www.suntec.fr\n\fTECHNICAL DATA\n\nGeneral\n Pump capacity\nMounting Hub mounting according to EN 225 Capacity (l/h)\nConnection threads cylindrical according to ISO 228/1\nInlet and return G 1/4\nNozzle outlet G 1/8\nPressure outlet G 1/8\nPressure gauge port G 1/8\nVacuum gauge port G 1/8\nValve function Pressure regulation\n\n\n\n\n SK145, SK248, 31/08/2017\nStrainer open area : 6 cm2\n opening size : 150 µm\nShaft Ø 8 mm according to EN 225\nBy-pass plug inserted in return port for two-pipe system ;\n to be removed from return port with a 4 mm Allen key\n for one pipe system.\nWeight 1,3 kg Pressure (bars)\n\nHydraulic Data Viscosity = 5 cSt - Rated speed = 2850 rpm\n 1,8 cSt\nNozzle pressure range @ 1,8 cSt\t\t @ 5 cSt\nLow mode : 8 -15 bars\t\t 8 -15 bars Data shown take into account a wear margin.\nHigh mode : 2 - 15 bars\t\t 12 - 25 bars Do not oversize the pump when selecting the gear\nDelivery pressure Low mode : 9 bars capacity to ensure the optimum operation of the (NO)\nsettings* High mode : 22 bars solenoid valve (switching low/high mode).\n\nOperating viscosity 1,25 - 12 mm²/s (cSt) for AT3 45K\n 2 - 12 mm²/s (cSt) for AT3 45/55/65\nOil temperature 0 - 60°C in the pump Power consumption\nInlet pressure 2 bars max.
