IDENTIFICATION\nThe SUNTEC J oil pump is for medium capacity oil burners from 400 to 3000kW. (Not all model combinations are available.\n Consult your Suntec representative)\nIt incorporates a pressure regulating valve and is avalaible with or without cut-off\nfunction. J : Pressure regulation\n\nCOMPATIBILITY Gear set capacity\n (see pump capacity curves)\n- Light and medium oil, HVO, B100 (biofuel blend with the addition up to Strainer\n100% FAME, as defined in DIN SPEC 51603-6 or EN 14214). For kerosene\n Shaft rotation\napplications, contact Suntec. and nozzle location\n- One or two-pipe system. (seen from shaft end)\n- Normally associated with in-line solenoid valve. A : clockwise rotation/\n right hand nozzle.\nPUMP OPERATING PRINCIPLE B : clockwise rotation/\n left hand nozzle.\n C : anti clockwise rotation/\nThe gear set draws oil from the tank through the built-in filter and transfers it to\n left hand nozzle.\nthe valve that regulates the oil pressure to the nozzle line. All oil that does not go D : anti clockwise rotation/\nthrough the nozzle line will be dumped through the valve back to the return line in right hand nozzle.\ntwo pipe installation or, if it is a one-pipe installation, back to the suction port in the Pressure range\ngear-set. In that case, the by-pass plug must be removed from the return port and\nthe return port sealed by steel plug and washer.\nModels 1000 & 1001, the valve also has a cut-off function as follows :\n - During starting period when the gear-set speed is increasing, all the oil passes J 6 P A C 1001 8 P\n through a special flat on the piston, back to the return. Once the speed reaches a\n certain value and the flow can no longer pass through this flat, then the pressure 1000 : conical connection threads\n cut-off function\n increases rapidly overcoming the valve spring force and opens the valve. 1001 : cylindrical connection threads\n - During the stop sequence, the gear-set speed slows down and the valve closes cut-off function\n when the gear-set capacity is lower than the flat flow. 1002 : cylindrical connection threads\n by-pass nozzle, no cut-off function\nThe cut-on and cut-off speeds depend on the gear-set size and set pressure. 1003 : conical connection threads\n by-pass nozzle, no cut-off function\nModels 1002 & 1003 have no cut-off function. Cut-off must be provided by an\nexternal solenoid valve. Revision number\n\nBleed : Installation\nBleeding in two pipe operation is automatic, but it may be accelerated by loosening P : by-pass plug installed in return port\nthe plug in a pressure gauge port. for two-pipe operation\n M : without by-pass plug;return plugged\nIn one pipe operation, a pressure port must be opened to bleed the system. for one-pipe operation\n\n\n\n Vacuum\n Inlet gauge port\n Oil under suction\n\n\n Oil under pressure Gear set\n\n By-passed oil\n returned to tank,\n or to suction\n\n\n\n\n Back\n to suction\n\n Pressure\n To nozzle\n adjustment\n\n By-pass Pressure\n plug By-pass gauge port\n removed plug\n inserted\n ONE PIPE TWO PIPE\n Return INSTALLATION INSTALLATION\n plugged\n Return\n\n SUNTEC INDUSTRIES FRANCE - 1, rue Lavoisier - CS 60 102 - F-21603 LONGVIC Cedex - www.suntec.fr\n\fTECHNICAL DATA Pump capacity\n Capacity (L/h)\nGeneral\n\n\n\n\n Ref: SK264 - 20/03/01; SK265 - 26/03/01; SK287 - 11/01/06\nMounting Flange mounting according to EN 225.\n Models 1000/1003 Models 1001/1002\nConnection threads Conical Cylindrical (according to ISO 228/1)\nInlet and return 1/4 NPTF G 1/2\nNozzle outlet 1/8 NPTF G 1/4\nPressure gauge port 1/8 NPSF G 1/8\nVacuum gauge port 1/4 NPTF G 1/2\nValve function Pressure regulating and cut-off (except for 1002 and\n 1003 models).\n Strainer Open area Opening size\n Pressure (bars)\n P: 97cm 2\n 170µm\n N: 45cm2 550µm\n Viscosity = 75 cSt\n L: No filter 20 cSt\n 5 cSt - Rated speed = 2850 rpm\nShaft Ø 11mm according to EN 225.\nBy-pass plug Inserted in return port for 2 pipe system;\n Data shown take into account a wear margin.\n to be removed with a 3/16\" Allen key for 1 pipe system.
