The OEM K12C50 is a constant power heating cable supplied on a 50 m spool, delivering approximately 10 W/m for pipe antifreeze protection in misting, irrigation and fire prevention systems. It uses a nickel-chromium heating element, silicone insulation, PVC sheath and 2 x 1.5 mm² conductors, with a minimum bending radius of 20 mm, maximum ambient temperature of 40 °C and minimum installation temperature of -20 °C. The cable requires a control thermostat to operate and can only be cut at indicated splicing points; cold tails allow direct connection to a thermostat or junction box.
